By this, I don't say that the film was very interesting & engaging and all, but it is a good one-time watch for family drama emotional audience/fans. If you remove Nani from this film, I think it would've been one of those long lists of Telugu disastrous films. The plot was the usual Telugu family commercial drama with some emotional content but again the emotional content is emoted in us only by Nani. Nani is one such actor whose acting feels very very natural in a given character, I don't know what but he definitely is doing something, tricking us in making us not even think about that. There are also some sequences which highlight the heroism in Nani and they are comfortable as well. There is very little comedy in this film and he does justice for the emotions that are needed from him within the character boundaries. He is one actor who excels in comedy and emotional sequences. Everything becomes predictable and boring. In many places, we feel like we are seeing familiar scenes. We get to see many things happening without purpose. It happens in the case of everyone, even the heroines and Jagapathi Babu. We see characters coming and disappearing without purpose. At the very onset, two camps are defined, one is that of the village elder Aadisesh Naidu (Nasser) who wants peace and a reckless Veerendra (Daniel Balaji), who will stoop to any level to encroach lands. The multiple characters conflict with the screen time. A masala potboiler, Tuck Jagadish takes place at a fictive village Bhudevipuram, where relationships take a backseat as bloodsheds reign over the land. But then, the good things end there itself. The names, the casting, and the village setup gives us an honest feeling. Director Shiva Nirvana got a huge casting and gave relatable names to them. After Aadisesh’s unexpected demise, Bosu Babu turns against Jagadish and wants to grab his property. His elder son Bosu Babu and younger son Jagadish are loving brothers. Review By Kamal K Tuck Jagadish is a film predominantly made to remind us about the beauty of joint families, the sensitive issues in villages which brings divide among the people etc. 2021 ‘ ’ Directed by Shiva Nirvana Synopsis Aadisesh Naidu, is a well revered man living with his family in a village known for greedy property fights among the families. ![]()
